These Terms of Use apply to ClimoraLens, including the ClimoraLens mobile application, web application, ClimoraLens Briefs, and related services provided by ShantiOni LLC (“ClimoraLens,” “ShantiOni,” “we,” “us,” or “our”).

By accessing, purchasing, or using ClimoraLens, you agree to these Terms.

Educational Purpose

ClimoraLens is an educational and informational resource designed to improve climate literacy and provide context about the long-term environmental characteristics of a place.

ClimoraLens provides information about climate, terrain, geography, seasonality, weather-related risks, infrastructure context, and related environmental characteristics. This information is intended to help users better understand how climate influences landscapes, seasons, infrastructure, travel experiences, and everyday life.

ClimoraLens does not make decisions on a user's behalf.

Not Professional or Emergency Advice

ClimoraLens is not a weather warning or emergency service and should not be relied upon for immediate or life-safety decisions.

ClimoraLens content does not constitute weather forecasts, emergency guidance, engineering or architectural advice, legal advice, medical advice, financial or investment advice, or professional recommendations for any specific course of action.

For current weather conditions, watches, warnings, emergencies, or other safety-critical information, consult appropriate official authorities and local sources.

Users should consult appropriate professionals and official sources when making decisions involving safety, construction, engineering, architecture, medicine, agriculture, finance, insurance, emergency preparedness, travel planning, or other specialized matters.

Climate and Weather Uncertainty

Information may also be derived from third-party scientific, geographic, environmental, and mapping datasets. Although ClimoraLens is designed to interpret these sources accurately, datasets may contain limitations, uncertainty, errors, or changes outside our control.

Your Decisions

ClimoraLens provides context that may support informed decision-making, but all decisions and actions remain solely the responsibility of the user.

ShantiOni LLC and its representatives do not instruct users whether to travel, when to travel, where to relocate, where to build, what to purchase, how to invest, or what personal, professional, or organizational decisions to make.

Subscriptions and Purchases

Certain ClimoraLens features require a paid subscription or purchase.

Subscription pricing and billing periods are displayed before purchase. Subscriptions purchased through the Apple App Store or Google Play are processed and managed by the applicable platform and are subject to its payment and subscription terms.

Subscriptions automatically renew unless canceled in accordance with the applicable app store's subscription policies. Users may manage or cancel their subscription through their applicable App Store or Google Play account.

Where available, Restore Purchases may be used to restore eligible purchases associated with the user's store account.

Intellectual Property

ClimoraLens, its original written content, interpretations, design, branding, frameworks, organization, and other original materials are owned by ShantiOni LLC or used under applicable license.

You may use ClimoraLens for personal and educational purposes. You may not reproduce, redistribute, sell, republish, scrape, systematically extract, or commercially exploit ClimoraLens content or services without prior written permission from ShantiOni LLC.

Availability and Changes

We may update, modify, add, or remove ClimoraLens features, content, supported locations, data sources, or services as the product develops.

We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free access to ClimoraLens.

Limitation of Liability

By using ClimoraLens, you acknowledge that the information provided is for educational and informational purposes and that you are responsible for decisions or actions you take based on that information.

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, ShantiOni LLC, its owners, employees, contractors, and representatives shall not be liable for direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or other damages arising from the use of, inability to use, or reliance upon ClimoraLens or its content.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits rights or liabilities that cannot legally be excluded or limited under applicable law.

Continued use of ClimoraLens after updated Terms take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms to the extent permitted by applicable law.
